I have to go back a generation I'm afraid to "Some like it hot" - just old fashioned clean and classical comedy with Joe E Brown's memorable final line "Nobody's perfect"

Why the first film I actually related to a book and gave me a love of early American history that I took to an open university degree level
because I wanted to with no pressure to complete other than in my own time

I think mine has to be the greatest showman. I feel so emotional watching it - it’s the first ‘grown up’ film that my daughter has loved so I just love the fact that we can share it together.

I like a good musical like high society.
Possibly a sci-fi like alien
However the best film? Jackie Brown...

This is a really tough question as I love many films for many different reasons...

If I HAD to pick just one I would probably say apocalypto. I still vividly remember the first time I watched it... my friends and I sat in complete silence just transfixed by it.
