Looks great. My kids would have definitely been up for all of that. We used to do first thing (rope drop) till closing, poor things, lol. It used to be me with my jetlag (that nothing can cure) who flagged. They left me sleeping on a bench for an hour at the rose garden 5pm one day at the MK!
Just an idea if you don't want to miss Fantasmic - take a thin blanket/fleece (evenings can get a bit chilly even in May) and get along to Fantasmic extra early when it's quite empty. Let them have a lay down along the seating till you have no choice but to move up. It's surprising how a power nap with their heads resting in your lap can refresh them. You should have an evening in hand you can swap around for Fantasmic/Illuminations. Whilst we've never had it cancelled because of bad weather, we have had fireworks, parades etc cancelled. Christmas day 2004 was a total wash out - it didn't stop all day. May isn't the most risky time of year, but we did have the most horrible thunderstorm when we went in May 2016 one evening. Luckily we had no plans that evening. 3 weeks till we go, and looking forward to 2 weeks of jetlag (not). |
