Starting cracking down on the parking fees, someone reported they are also cracking down on parking with no ADR

YT. We spotted this at POR on Monday when we popped there.
Uniform security guard and a manager in normal clothes. No issue for us and we got waved through as were nipping to Boatwrights. Also a nark of mine at SSR has confirmed the security guards refused to get involved in charging as their job description is to manage safety not collect money! I will monitor the situation over the next 2 + weeks.

When we checked in at Pop Century in September, I was not asked, or mentioned, we had a car. I think when our name was checked with the security guard, it automatically charged the parking charge to our room.

Last year in Dec I stayed at Universal but when I visited Disney using my AP it was free to park so it's been at least a year.

YT. Now seeing 2 people in the security booths at both ends of SSR.
One being a uniformed guard and the other in plain clothes. The extra one at the main entrance yesterday was a Lifeguard! As there was nobody to rescue I assume he was on overtime
