I'm so sorry I forgot to update this thread as I've been in Florida for the last couple of weeks. We found out who it was by showing it to my MIL who immediately recognised the main character - no, not the Christmas Fool, but the husband/dad who opens the loft hatch and is then shown coming out of Argos who is a distant relative. I think I've only met him on a couple of occasions in the thirty two years DH and I have been together, so hardly surprising I didn't recognise him.
