The comptroller site won't show anything when searched using your name until you have closed and the title company have sent it in for recording. You can search by the 'sellers' name now and see the deed for the contract you are buying.

yes I have the virgin atlantic card and my hubby has just taken it out too but I think the points wouldn't be in there for a month anyway. I have just transferred some tesco clubcard points so hoping they will go in soon :-) If the card comes in time we will be able to purchase the flights on that though, Realistically I think I will be having to buy about 4,000 points in the end.

Thats the thing I love about Amex, points go onto Amex within a couple of days of earning them and you can transfer them over into the flying club account within about 30 mins! wish they all did that!
