Parcel Fee - SSR

I popped to Nike the other day as I wanted new trainers but they didn't have size 10 in stock.

I thought it was great they would deliver them via FedEx free of charge within 2 days so ordered them

Darn me I have been charged $5 for the privilege by SSR staff.
I know they sometimes charge but for one parcel I view it as pathetic penny pinching.

I'm not going to make an issue over it but the thin end of the wedge is getting a lot thicker

I would agree with you except for the stories of people getting numerous packages delivered to their hotels. As some of these arrive before the actual stay, I can't imagine the logistics of storing and delivering all of them. I see it as some people taking advantage of the formerly free service and ruining it for people using it as a one off like you.

Donna. I agree with a charge as you say ref loads of parcels. Hey ho I have bigger fish to fry but I find it annoying.

I think when we pay for the staff wages in dues and it could be said to be an expected part of a front desk to receive parcels, then we shouldn’t be charged as we are paying twice. Well perhaps not charged for 1 parcel per stay.

I got something delivered to boardwalk before arrival and they changed $3. I then got something delivered whilst there and the guy just handed me the parcel and got me to sign for it when I went to collect (same guy both times).

I wonder I feel the fee is imposed if the staff have to sign for a parcel?
Mine was as it was FedEx.

Wow that's a bit steep charging for the two!

That reminds me, my Son has pinched my Leatherman and pouch. I must get it back.

I always wanted a Leatherman after my oldest was in a show in Bath, all the back stage crew had them

2 years ago we popped to Walmart and i saw they had Bear Grylls Gerber multitools for nothing money ( it was about $40 ) so i got one, then at home i looked at the cost of them and they were £60 and stumbled across the Other gerber range and spent £100 on one

so I had a Gerber and a BG Gerber and just needed the Leatherman to complete the set

thus Aug i got one, so now have the trio of multi tools, a little sad really

It gets worse!

Thank the Lord my Son has decided to sell his motorbike which I hated him having but he needs the money for his new car.
He has been taking all the extras off it today and I asked what tools he is using.
It appears my ring spanners, case of 48 Allan Keys and my medium toolbox with new screwdrivers has also gone missing to his place.
I feel a raid coming on!
