Mobile Paris hotels

Hello, we are getting married in March 2019, and we can’t afford to go on honeymoon straight away, but we are going to go to Paris for a weekend as a mini-moon whilst we save up.

So i’m looking for hotel recommendations. We are on a budget. But I would like 3 star. Maybe a smaller property, and nice and central ideally as we aren’t there too long.

Thanks in advance

a few years ago we stayed at Hotel Mercedes which was small/quirky art deco hotel in a more residential area about 10-15 mins walk to Arc de Triumph. only had about 5 rooms per floor and a (very slow) lift then ran centrally round the stairs (if you like Killing Eve its the type of building that would be in it). Was not expensive at all and was as far away from a chain hotel you can get but very Parisian.

EDIT just looked its now owned by Best Western but still looks like same setup

Thanks, how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
Was hoping for something a bit more Parisian, but I'm struggling to get brekkie included

Will look at this thanks. I stayed in a best western that was like an old house back 10+ years ago, but I can't find it now. Defo not this one though as it was near the Eiffel tower

Oh dear now it might not be a good deal actually but I was happy with it £1000 for four of us four nights inc brekkie I think it was -
If you look up 7th arondisment on Expedia there is some lovely quaint places and the area looks nice too - I nearly booked a few there. Or 6th area saint German ? Expedia and hotels.com have the best rates as I was looking for ages. If you add brekkie in the hotels.com options a few will come up

I was literally going to say have you thought about air BnB. You can stay in the heart of it and it will be truly Parisian 😉 look for Montmatre, there are so many nice cafes and bakeries you wouldn’t even need to spend a fortune on breakfast!

We stayed at the Hotel Design Sorbonne a couple of years ago, we had B&B. Really quirky place, good location, friendly staff.

The best deal was to book direct through their website, it was a far better rate than any of the usual booking sites and allowed us to go up by two room grades for the same money.

Our DD and her fiancé stayed at Hotel Eiffel Blomet in June this year. It’s in the 15th arrondissement.
hoteleiffelblomet

The hotel had recently been reonovated when they stayed and had a lovely spa.
It’s a 4* but I’m sure they got a reduced advance rate.

Apologies if not suitable; just thought it might be worth a look.
Hope you find something.
