I find it really hard to find paper I love. I bought some glittery reindeer paper from Tesco a couple of years back that I really liked, they have the same design this year but it’s not glittery and not as nice.

I stockpile my wrapping paper and tags from Studio Cards. They have really lovely paper and often at drastically reduced prices.

I’ve just looked on studio and saw a pink wrapping set that was lovely. It was foil and had multicolour reindeers on, and it’s out of stock. Will keep looking!

Before recycling, remove any sticky tape and decorations such as ribbons and bows as these cannot be recycled. Wrapping paper can only be recycled if it passes the scrunch test - simple paper wrap can be recycled but foil or glitter-decorated paper cannot and needs to go in the general waste.
Cheers Louise, that makes sense and what I do anyway, we remove the tape and I don't do glitter on anything I buy lol, working in a card shop I'm covered in it anyway this time of year without it been all over my house xx

I put as much as I can in gift bags. I recycle them - I.e. i reuse ones we have been given, as long as they are in excellent condition and maybe buy a few more if needed. I used to go all out with ribbons and bows, but now just but some nice tree decorations and add one with the the tag. Makes the presents look lovely and the recipient can put them on their tree if they want to.

Dd has gone all out this year, fancy paper, string, tags and bows plus a stamp so she can stamp her name on the tags.
I am using bags, only for the awkward shaped ones but I seem to have a few of those this year.

I never buy fancy paper for my kids pressies lol, it's not on long enough to be appreciated plus the thin stuff is much easier to rip off 😂

I started my wrapping today. Wrapped all my eldest daughters and middle son.
For my daughter I went for a white and gold theme, white with gold reindeer heads, gold with white writing on and white with gold flying sleigh & raindeer (3 for 2 at Tesco) it looks really effective and I know she will appreciate it now she is older.
My middle son has red with Father Christmas, red with white writing and red with different Christmassy pictures on, his was pretty cheap from b&m’s because he loves to just rip the wrapping off with no care lol
My youngest has very similar to my middle son but in blue. Non of that posh stuff for the boys as it’s to hard to open lol lol
