DVC Disney store discount

Just wondered if anyone else has had problems getting their discount at any of the Disney stores.
Recently I was point blank refused in Venice. Despite me asking the manager and assistant manager they refused saying it wasn’t valid.
I contacted Disney who confirmed that it should have been. I’ve never had a problem in any other stores.

Someone in the U.K. was refused, but that was a mistake also. Note doesn’t work in USA but should in U.K. not sure about rest of Europe but expect it’s the same as U.K. as Disney seemed to confirm.
Problem is, us UK DVC owners are a bit of a rare breed and the staff may hardly ever get the request.

Got mine in the Liverpool store about a month ago with no problems.

Yes if you show them your card you get 10% off. It has to be authorised by the manager

You also can’t use it in any Disney store in Canada 🇨🇦
