Operation road trip

Well 70 days after returning we have just started planning our month long road trip around Florida. It’s early days yet, so we have starting sticking pins in a map of where we would like to go! I’ve attached a picture, any suggestions or places to go would are more than welcome.

Google Lake Placid Florida,it’s a traditional Florida citrus town
They have amazing murals .. you can get a map of them at the tourist centre .
There’s a little railroad museum run by a couple of volunteers one of them a Vietnam vet called Jerry ... it’s a tiny museum but they have one of Jackie Kennedy’s dresses there it’s pretty cool tbh !
They also have a covered bridge but we didn’t know about it until we had driven on .

You are lacking any pins on the gulf cost from Tampa to Naples, lots to see and do there and lovely beaches.

If I had a month, I wouldn’t be wasting it driving round Florida, get out there and see some of the real America

St Augustine is worth a visit, as are a number of places in the Panhandle (the beaches are excellent).
