Current Weather in NY

We fly out Saturday for a week and wondered if anyone is out there at the minute. I've been checking the forecast and it appears to be Cool enough but wondered whether it feels a "LOT" colder? Anyone help?

got back yesterday, was about 4 or 5 during the day & at worst -1 at nights... coming from the north east this to us wasnt too bad, just a decent coat jumper , i wore desert boots not 'big' Timberland boots i also had with me

it did say on the news colder weather was on its way, personally id prepare the worst, ive been this time of year -11 it was baltic

BTW the weekend was the busiest ive ever seen NYC this time of year.. sat afternoon on 6th ave was like a football match coming out... the concrete anti car barriers dont help but it was borderline dangerous to be honest..

Thank you. I don't mind cold, but not stupid cold. we shall see.

I am expecting big crowds, so just going to breath and try and relax. Take our time and enjoy it.

crowds around times square etc to be expected but was suprised on the shopping streets, as i say the concrete barriers didnt help, the also had fencing up to stop the crowds spilling into the road, which added to the crush

dont miss the light show at Saks , makes some of the efforts you see here look a but feeble

if you fancy skating the rockefella is very expensive (guess you pay for the location) iirc was $35 + $12 for skates hore

Bryant Park is free but $20 for skate hire & a bigger less crowded rink

Central PArk is iconic but not sure on cost was a few years ago now

top tip DONT goto bucca di beppo for a meal - shocking..

If you’ve got children,I would definitely say,do the ride & the rockettes Xmas show.
The kids will have a great time, with both.
Enjoy NY.
