It's very cold and frosty today. Having a nose out the window watched a dad walk his kids to school.

He was walking with purpose, head down shoulders up. Older daughter weighted down under the school bag seemed to have the world on her shoulders behind. Coming along behind was the 4 year old. Watching her the length of the street, she was a plane, then she balanced along the ribbon of new tarmac. Then she played hopscotch.

My point is - they were all making the same journey but one was having waaay more fun than the others.

I am determined to have a go at not walking on the cracks today as I head to the station, and I know there is a particularly tempting ribbon of new tarmac down our street.

Go on, squeeze a bit more out of life today and do something the way a 4 year old would.

Be curious to know what you all do. Drawing rude pictures of your boss doesn't count. 😁

Ha ha love seeing things through a childs eyes.

My daughter has sent me a video the Nursery has posted of all the 3yr old chidren having a trike race.
Absolutely hilarious with my Grandson just going round and round in circles.

You look at them and think oh to be young again, and where has the time gone.

Cardiff has a go kart centre. I would say I would challenge you on it but, knowing your expertise with larger vehicles suspect I would be doomed to failure. 😁

Your grandson sounds more my level.

Made it to the station without treading on any cracks. Now contemplating asking random strangers if we are nearly there yet?!
