Has anyone been on tv?

I am feeling nervous as we have completed several rounds of interviews with production staff and are now waiting to hear if we will be successful on getting on the show. We will be filmed for 2 weeks so nervous (but really excited) as to having a camera on me... Anyone done anything like this?

Not been filmed for that long but have been interviewed on various programmes over the last 8 years.
Always amazes me how much filming they do and how little of it actually gets used.

Thank you 😁 yeah the show we will fingers crossed be on is only on for a hour once a week. 2 weeks of filming for us to be on for an hour is a surprise. 8 years of interviews makes you a pro in my book.

Yes we were followed through my twin pregnancy/birth then for around 9months after for a hospital tv programme! So on tv for two series! think it was around 10 episodes each series! Long time ago now tho! Have all the footage as well!

Aww that would be great footage to have. Did you get used to the cameras? I am worried I freeze or sound wooden. It would involve a few celebrities coming to my house so I am scared I get star struck and can't talk 🤣😂

Yes it is great to look back at! It is very strange trying to relax around the cameras but you just have to be yourself and try to forget they are there although it’s not always that easy when they are pointing at ur face 😂 hope the celebs are someone u like x

I will remember your words of wisdom if they come. Thats what I was thinking it must be strange having a camera in your face. yeah it is one of them I am a huge fan of...

I have ..we had a few months of filming for about 16 mins to be shown lol. I found it hard work and intrusive and there wasn't any payment involved. They expect you to be available when they want and try to manipulate conversation. We thought we would be getting good advice but it was little advice at a very difficult time .
My Dh applied without me knowing and within a week they were making the programme. I would just make sure that I stood up a little bit more and found out what they were expecting from me.
Hope it goes well Minnie18 and can't wait to watch.
