I was plannng to go carol singing tonight but it's too wet out there so I won't bother which is disappointing because I usually make a good £75 for a few hours door knocking. I do have charity labels on my collection bucket and 5% of my money goes to worthy charities and the other 95% towards my Florida holiday fund.

My old job was to put the roof trusses on. No matter what the weather or the wind up we went.

No safety harnesses, hard hats, steel toecap boots etc. Just got on with it.

I was quite happy walking on roof trusses, but I hated walking on tiled roofs albeit I could.
I use a family company ref aerials and they have been around for 50 years. Great guys, neat, quick, reasonable and very professional.
Not the easy money people think it is. Has to be right.

Poor Rod Hull went on the roof of his house to adjust his tv ariel and fell off and died. You would have thought he could have afforded to pay someone to fix it for him.
