Mobile Era?

Just wondering what your fav era is and why? ( excluding kids/marriage/big life moments) dd was just asking today about when I was her age.

Mine's would be the 80's I was born in 1980 but growing up I loved the puff ball skirts/the music and how everyone dressed up to go places like the theatre/dinner etc... For me even though I was really young I felt a massive change coming... boundaries beeing broken in the terms of race/culture and sexuality. My great uncle who I call dad and helped bring me up (I don't have a real dad) was a miner and I remember the strikes so vividly and for me its gave me all through my life the strengh to stand up for what I believe in.

Over to you lovely dibbers 🤩

Mine is definitely the 90s, I was 6 in 1990 so felt most of my most formative years were spent in that decade. I was definitely into all the boy bands, 911, Take That, Boyzone etc.. and spent most of the 90s going to pop concerts with my Mum!

The 1970's.
Started work aged 15 in 1970 on the buildings. We were all earning so much money we physically couldn't spend it all! New cars every year .
1976 was my first trip to America which has continued to this day some 42 years later.

I'm in a hotel in Notts so will look when home late tomorrow.

Strange name P Diddy, what happened to sensible names like Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mitch and Titch.

I also agree the 1970s is my favourite era. Apart from the great music me and my mates got a bit bored after school until we discovered a youth club that was mainly full of girls from a local all school girls school and life changed for us all for the better😀
