Yes it will be fine. That’s the one I used in October last year.

Thank you! May I ask what video editing software you use? I’ve been toying with imovie but I’m tempted by final cut.

Oven been using iMovie relatively successfully and find it quite straightforward. I have downloaded Davinchi something (?) as I’ve seen people use it, but I can’t for the life of me get it to accept my clips...must be the file format I guess.

I wanted the GoPro shorty but as it extends I didn’t buy as I’ll want to use it in the parks eventually.
So I got the GoPro tripod mount kit for £12 or so off Amazon which comes with a mini tripod that doubles up as a handle when folded- perfect for the parks and a couple of extra mounts as a bonus.
I wouldn’t pay the £25 GoPro charge but for the current half price on Amazon it’s great.

If your shooting in anything above 1080p you'll need to re-encode using Handbreak

DaVinci resolve supports H.264 which GoPro's use upto that resolution, above that they use H.265 which Resolve doesn't use

That makes sense, I shoot in 2.7k. I’ll give the lower res a shot and try again.
