Dossette boxes

Does anyone else use dossette boxes?

I have to take 15 pills a day and I prefer use self filled dossette boxes, I know the advice is to keep tablets in their boxes, with your name etc on but last time I filled the dossette boxes before I went, but kept them in a big clear bag with the spare pills (in case of delays)... went through, no problem.

My question is does anyone else do this? And if so has anyone been stopped and/or questioned about them?

I'd really prefer to do them at home before we go as it a while to do them and it's time I'd rather spend doing something else and the bin looks terrible after I have finished with all the empty blister packs in!

I've done this for years and never had a problem, no-one has even mentioned the pills... and I've been pulled over for other things at the x-ray.

I do for my son... I keep a copy of the prescription too & spare meds in labelled boxes in separate bag just Incase... not had a problem so far... !

I agree that you should take a copy of your repeats list (good in case you misplace anything as well). If you are on any controlled drugs (morphine etc) you might want a letter from your GP, showing this has been prescribed for you.

Never had a problem , I do take extra pills in the original packs
