Having done both on site and off site, we would never do,it again. It's simply too much hassle. We felt like we'd no sooner got sorted in one location than we were on the move again. Not for us.

We usually move as for us staying at a different resort makes it feel like a different holiday but we're usually there for a minimum of 3 weeks. For 8 days I'd stay put as it's taking valuable time out of the trip.

We only split stay if visiting the coast, and even then packing and relocating is a pain, or so I am told. I hide with the kids in the pool til the 'event' is over
I think we would split stay on-site if we didn't have kids, just to experience some of the different DVC resorts. |
