AKL room refurbishments

Would be interested to know if any rooms are finished now, and what’s changed. Anyone stayed in one yet?

Kidani Village had room refurbs in 2017.
Jambo House had pool refurb this year, but no room refurbs have been done, and nothing planned.

According to other sites AKL Jambo House room refurbishments started August 2018. I think they're removing the bunk beds and it's a soft refurbishment.

Yup thats what I heard to just a general paint up job etc & they close the floor above and the floor below so as not to cause inconvenience. But yes they were removing bunk beds
