Cruising from New York
We’re sailing from New York next year. We want to arrive the night before and stay a few days afterwards. Anyone done this and would you stay in an airport hotel the night before cruise? Also is Newark the best airport to fly into? Sailing from cape liberty NJ. We’ll stay in a Manhattan hotel at the end.

We’re doing the same - cruising from Cape Liberty! We’ve booked the Springhill Suites near the airport - not sure whether we’re using their shuttle bus to get to Cape Liberty or a Uber. Where are you sailing to? x

 We are also sailing from New Jersey on Rcl to Boston, New England and Canada on 29th August. We are flying into Newark staying 2 nights at Best Western at airport as they do cruise shuttle. Then staying at Hilton at Penn Station New Jersey as only a 15 minute train ride into Manhattan and hotel costs half price.

We did a 9 night New England and Canada cruise with RCL this year from Cape Liberty on Anthem of Seas, and we flew into NYC 3 days prior, staying in Manhattan (Times square area) We used Hoppa for our transfers, and they were excellent. (booked and paid for in UK in advance) Was a fantastic cruise, thoroughly enjoyed it.

23rd August. Was wonderful cruise, we saw dolphins alongside us, and whales nearer to canada, our favourite port was bar harbour so cute!
Would do it again in a heartbeat.
