Booking via BA, 1 connection on the way out (both Legs operated by AA) 1 connection return, AA then BA. hand luggage only fare, does anyone have any idea what the luggage fees are? I think it’s $100 per bag but unsure if this would be that for both legs or each leg, I am aware it would be that each way. Anyone know the answer? Also BA seat us for free with infant, will AA?

AA will not sit you for free, if you're travelling with an Infant. Does your ticket not allow seat selection with AA? We didn't have to pay for regular seats last year.
But they do provide you with a bassinet, if you are seated in a bulkhead seat. We had to pay for the bulkhead seat last year, but we were then sure to get the bassinet, which was well worth it.
And the charge per bag will be from origin to destination unless your connection is more than 24 hours, so you should only pay the one charge for the outbound and a second charge for the return.

AA treat bulkhead seats as main cabin extra so you have to pay to book them. AA standard tickets include seat reservations (though these options are limited) but they have a basic ticket like unite and virgin that does not include luggage or seat reservations you get what is left at boarding and you board last though with an infant they may allow you to board early.

I would call AA and see if you can pay a fee to reserve seats and put luggage they may be able to upgrade your ticket to a standard one for less than the cost of luggage.
