Mobile PhotoPass Plus

Does anybody know how much it costs to buy PhotoPass plus? And can it be purchased online before or only in the parks?

They've just put the price up and I think it's now 80 euros. We added one onto our booking and it was about 10 euro cheaper to do this.

When we went 2 Xmas' ago it was £48 to add to the booking. It was worth it then, not so sure now! That's a massive price rise in less than 2 years, with nothing extra added to it. I'm actually quite shocked! Xx

If you are staying 4 or 5 days and meeting a lot of characters, maybe.

Otherwise, definitely not.

There are Photopass pics on a small number of rides and character meets (not all meets). No roaming photographers. No magic shots, no extras - very basic as yet.

We planned on purchasing the photos pass but so glad we didn’t. We saw characters at the breakfast and only did the one meet and greet with Minnie due to the queues. On the ride photos we always seemed to have someone in the way spoiling our shot. We also did a lot of single rider queues so wouldn’t have been together. Glad we didn’t spend the money on it.
Our WDW magic pass photos were fantastic and I think if DLP want to sell this expensive product they really need to improve it.

Thanks everyone, we're only going 3 days and not planning on loads of character meets so I might reconsider.

The CM at the Minnie meet and greet took lots of photos for us with our phones so we still had good photos.

I would agree, we just came back having purchased PhotoPass; with hindsight, not worth it.

We had one for a 4n/5d stay - whilst we did get some lovely pictures of Minnie, Pluto , Pooh and Darth Vader I think in hindsight it probably wasn't the money - especially as the CMs will happily take the photos for you on your phone.
