Aer Lingus from Scotland
Have read some bad reviews of aer Lingus recently however getting not bad prices from Edinburgh via Dublin. Anyone have anymore experiences you'd share with me?
So seat selection is included. How is ife? Food? Service? Obviously preclearing immigration is a big plus. |

I was angling towards al but prices for my Nov dates not out yet and new late arrival time at mco was putting me off too. Thanks to thread on here, took the plunge with ba from Gla at 347 pp incl bags. Same flights now over 450 so pure luck. Am not looking forward to immigration at mco but flight gets in at 16.25 all being well so savings too good. Have not heard any more negative about al than any other airline so if their prices and times suit you then don't talk yourself out of it would be my view. Remember they do Glasgow too.

Getting Excited

We flew Aberdeen-Dublin-Orlando in October and found it to be good. We've previously flown Virgin and Thomas Cook and it wasn't any better or worse than either. The food was ok and service was decent. Not a great selection of kids films for DS (12) but he kept himself busy enough. We had a long wait in Dublin on the way back (7 hours)but would rather have that than a long drive after a night flight. I'm looking at using the same route in October 2019 and the wait in Dublin on the way back is only 1.5 hours this time.

Have a look at American Airlines from Dublin. We flew Dublin - Charlotte - Orlando with them earlier this year. Returned via Philadelphia. Went Edinburgh - Dublin with Ryanair and stayed overnight at Premier Inn Inn. Thought they were good.
