My Daughter has nabbed the box - good girl.
Yep, daughters - that’s why I couldn’t buy one just for me...

Hope the drive goes ok!

I have 1 credit card that is only used for Amazon.

3 months?
Did you not query the purchases you didn’t recognise after the 1st month if your bills were so much higher than expected?
Many people would query unexplained/unknown purchases when they first spotted them.

Aside from part of the handle being missing there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, I'm sure they could have got it repaired or the part from the manufacturer...
That’s crazy! Amazon have a lot of buying power though so suppliers might not get the choice of blind refunds for faulty goods. The normal process would be to get the faulty item back and then return it to the supplier before getting refunded.

I recently ordered a shower stool for my mum. It came in a big cubed box. I thought that it wasn't a flat pack, but there'd be extensions for the legs. I'd got someone to carry the box to my car as it was delivered to work. When I got it out of my car at my mum's I pulled my back as it was heavier than expected. On opening the box we saw there were actually 4 flat packed boxes inside. It seems that they didn't open the box in the warehouse and assumed that one of the delivery boxes was one of the stools.
I chatted them and tried to arrange a pick up. We'd worked one out then they said that particular delivery firm don't operate in our area, so we could keep the other 3.
Mind you, at first they were saying "sorry for the incorrect delivery, we can send you one straight away"
We took them down to the local charity shop.

Perhaps you are being taken there on a suprise trip and the map was part of the reveal?!

Otherwise it sounds like Amazon might need a map themselves 😁

Best to be prepared.

I also have a system and have a recurring 'appointment' on Calendar - change all batteries especially smoke alarms on January 1st every year.
Best thing we did was get a battery recharger and changed all our batteries to rechargable ones - yes more expensive but good to know you can just stick then in the recharger when you want them. All from Amazon

Amazon delivered 2 go pro cameras to my address, with my surname, but not the first name of anyone here. I emailed and rang them, but she told me to dispose of them as they couldn’t trace the tracking number. I was gobsmacked - these were retailing at £357 on their site. She emailed me to confirm I could dispose of them as they didn’t want them back. Amazed that they were happy to write off that much money 😲
