I tried the VR last year it was terrible! My headset was shaking so much I could barely see what was happening. It then started to fall off! I hope they have removed it permanently. I just don't see why they have a roller coaster which is 150ft tall to then make you wear a stupid headset! I used to love the views from the top of it.

I’m glad I’ve found this post and hope it still the same in May. It’s my favourite coaster in Orlando. Showed the family pics and they’re looking forward to it for their first visits.
When I received my tickets from OAT yesterday and got m little one watching the seaworld/ Busch gardens DVD that came with it, had a heart attack thinking they had added VR to it. So wanted to check could ride without it.

I believe that was the point, ridership was too low to justify its existence. It really only needed one of the coasters to be open, in which case what would be the point? I'm as disappointed by that as you are but it was unfortunately the right thing to do to replace it if the safety case couldn't be made to restore it to the racing mode.

We managed to do the first public soft opening last year, personally enjoyed it but it did take an age to load everyone and then they started cleaning the VR sets as we left. I appreciate they may have got slicker with this process but it would increase the wait times.
