Following as I'd be interested to know the answer too.

Have you looked on touringplans.com for their help? They have views from most rooms onsite. It was great help when I stayed at CBR but I've found it more difficult to use at WL when different classes of room are so close to one another

Hi. We had a view of magic kingdom and the fireworks in a standard room (albeit in the distance). I can’t remeber the room number I am afraid, but if you ask for a high floor to the left hand block of room from the lobby (when facing the pool), that was where we were. I would get one as close to the lake area as possible as there’s a service yard near the reception end which means the view (if you look down at least) is not as good. Hopefully that makes sense and you can look on touring plans for the room numbers. We had a great time, hope you love the hotel as much as we did!

I stayed in a very similar standard room to scouse mouse on the 5th floor. It had a nice view of the MK, fireworks and monorail but also had some trucks that could be heard in the service area if the slider was opened.
