Which hotel?

Hi, I’m looking to book dlp tomorrow for next week but not sure which hotel to choose. It’s between Santa Fe and sequoia lodge. There is a price difference of £187. It’s for 1 adult and 3 children. Any opinions would be great, thanks.

What offer are you booking under? And which restaurants would you want to eat in?

I think Sequoia Lodge would be lovely this time of year, like a rustic winter getaway - I'm travelling next week (Wed-Sun) and originally booked Sequoia Lodge but upgraded to Newport Bay.

Sequoia. Just for the shorter walk back if nothing else. When it's cold & there's tired kids busy buses aren't fun.

Depends partly on how many days there are for that price difference!

But between the two I'd go for Sequoia Lodge - it's a great hotel and I liked the feel of it much better than the Santa Fe. (Disclaimer that I've not stayed in the Santa Fe, but I've walked/ran through it before...)

I've stayed at both and whilst Santa Fe was fine, Sequoia Lodge just had a magical feel to it. It was worth spending extra. We did book a Golden Forest room though so it might have added to the lovely time we had.

I haven’t stayed in Santa Fe, but I have stayed in Sequoia Lodge and Cheyenne. Sequoia Lodge has a lovely pool and has open fireplaces. The walk from Santa Fe is fine about 10 to 15 mins, but I wasn’t as keen on the theming of Santa Fe when walking through it. I loved Cheyenne though.
