Looks like there’s a decent amount of economy available for the 21st.

That’s for Manchester. Are you looking for Gatwick cos I’ll check that if you like?

Kat
Thank you, I'll have a look at the Delta site. Ideally we'd like Manchester, but will do Gatwick if that's the only option.

Edit: Delta have EC for sale, but it's £1313pp!

I do think it’s a bit (alot) pricey at the moment but hopefully it’ll come down for you. 🤞🏼

Gatwick have availability too by the look of it. We are Manchester travelers too, so Gatwick would be a last resort after Glasgow.

Good luck 😃

How did you manage to book so early when 4th November (inbound) has only been on sale for a few days?
outbound should have available 23/ 24 November but had a fight as code never appeared.
Only going out for 10 days to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and that made inbound leaving 31st October. Those seats went on sale 4th December

Yes, outbound was available then, but I've had to wait for inbound to become available before booking, which was only a few days ago, as single one way fares are ridiculous! Unless you managed to bag reward flights? I've been searching every day as they are bookable as single legs, but no joy.

Wonder why they've merged the flights so early after release? I thought they normally did that at a later date if both flights weren't too busy?

It seems all October VS 73 have been merged and massive post on this earlier.
No reward seats, I just rang VA on Dec 4th because nothing appeared as given date and no way was I waiting again.
Try ringing flying club, they helped me and booked seats there and then. Loads of availability in Economy 21st

Goodness knows how I missed that thread as I'm on here on forum spy constantly!

I'll give them a call, but might have to look at Gatwick. Not ideal, but I certainly can't afford the prices that Delta are showing at the moment.

It was a very similar situation for Oct 18 flights (*very* similar dates), when I was looking last year. At one point, premium both ways was cheaper than economy and very shortly after, EC Man-MCO direct was sold out and stayed that way. I track the prices most years, and it was really unusual, but it seems it's doing the same again for 2019!

I’m wondering this as well. I’m guessing this merging of flights is responsible for the massive hike in price but it seems nuts to do it so soon.

We’re going early July which is generally really quite busy and there is only one flight a day.
