Disney Resort Hotel MUST SEE Christmas decs

I haven't been at Christmas time since 2013.

my cousins friend is going on Boxing day and I have been asked to give some advice to them as it is the persons 1st visit.

I want to suggest they spend some time visiting the resort hotels to see the Christmas Decorations etc.

they are not staying on property, so will probably just suggest the see the Gingerbread house at Grand Flo, the carousel at yacht and beach club, hotels they can get to easily from a park.

what are the decorations like at Polynesian and Contemporary like this year, are they also worth stopping by to visit?

We were at the contemporary last week and they didn’t have many decorations up. The Christmas tree out the front was nice but that was the only thing I noticed. The Grand Floridian was lovely x

I wouldn't bother with the Poly as they are very underwhelming there. However, I would definitely get a boat/bus from MK to Wilderness Lodge which has one of the 9 giant Christmas trees around Disneyworld and was our favourite in terms of colours. Wilderness Lodge also has a lovely cosy feel which is perfect for Christmas.

I'd second Wilderness Lodge, the lobby at Christmas time is amazing.

Wildness Lodge is beautifully as is both Animal Kingdom Lodges, Fort Wilderness is also looking good if they go at night. Contemporary is not worth the trip.
