explain to me please

I am once again tentatively thinking about our 40th wedding anniversary in 2020. DH would not want to stay on site for a full two weeks, however, I would!

Questions

DVC points September 2020 what prices am I looking at for 7 nights SSP

Can I buy DDP?

What are the benefits versus just booking with WDW direct

What size accommodation? Studio or 1 bedroom? I haven’t looked at the points chart but specific timing might mean different numbers of points so do you have an idea of dates?

You can buy DDP (depends on the owner) but you will pay in $ not £ and so it might be expensive. And generally the benefits are bigger units for less money than via Disney direct.

Tinkerbell. Dining Plan not really worth it paying cash. Will very likely be cheaper OOP.

So points charts for 2020 don’t seem to be available yet but if you assume the same as 2019 then a standard studio would be 83 points and preferred is 97. Based on David’s prices (a well known broker) that would be $1328 or $1552 with dining on top.
