Glitch/Cheap price thread July/August 2019

There’s still time for a bargain, there were cheap flights over the Xmas hols last year for August.

I found flights in July and August on budget air .co.uk which were around £550 including checked bags from Heathrow to Tampa. Hopefully it helps some on here. We booked earlier and had the e tickets issued within 10mins and it's all confirmed on United Airlines website

I am waiting and very confident flight prices will come down. I’ve never paid more than £1800 for the 4 of us and don’t plan to start now! One year I got them for £1550 but that was booking in July to go in August. Just keep looking they will come down I am sure of it!

I’ve finally managed to book mine with Norwegian, LGW to Miami for £560 inc baggage and exit row seats. I was hoping for Manchester flights but I’m just happy to be booked!

Have found flights from Aberdeen via Manchester and Newark for £503 (this involves an overnight at Manchester but this suits us). This includes one checked bag each and seat selection at the time of booking. Most dates available in July. Not the huge bargain we had the last two years but not bad when it includes baggage.

Oops, forgot to say this is on United’s website. They are much more expensive using anyone else to book.

United have reduced prices from end August. Just seen 2 adults, 1 teen and 1 child for £1758 not including baggage. We’re still waiting for multi city flights but if that had included baggage I would have booked!

I’m seeing some great prices for late July into August from MAN to MIA, TPA or MCO. Coming in at high £300’s to low £400’s. Need to watch for some long stopovers but there are some good ones in there too.

just cancelled my ba flydrive into Miami end of aug, they even give me my deposit back as they cancelled a leg of my flights 2 weeks ago which I wasn't happy with. so jumped on the united flights into mco, give myself plenty of connection time in Newark and paid £1600 for the 3 of us with checked bags,and free seat selection
So i am happy with that, I was tied to fixed dates and they are weekend flights.

Tickets already gone (at least for our dates). Back up to £600-£700. You really do have to buy when you see a price you are happy with!

Where did you find the cheaper prices? I can’t find anything. Tried Kaysk and Skyscanner
