Hertz Costco and insurance
Hi
I've been looking at car hire for next years trip and Hertz is the cheapest via Costco, but their insurance is not the same as Alamo and Enterprise. Can anyone tell me if the Hertz insurance is surfice, it says on the Hertz website additional extras can be purchased at the counter but going through a dummy booking there is no additional insurance to add, has anyone booked insurance at the counter(for a 7 seater town and country or similar) and if you dont mind me asking how much did you pay Thanks Mike |

If you copy and paste what's included, we can take a look and advise. The rental companies use different terminology when it comes to the insurances so adds to the confusion.
Adding on insurance at the rental desk will always work out very expensive. |

I'm interested to know as well - Costco are the cheapest I have found for a standard SUV with an additional driver for my dates

Hi
Loss damage waiver LDW is the same as CDW Liability insurance supplement is the same as extended protection, and is sometimes known as SLI With both of those I would say you are fully covered.
