Mobile DAS- Will they ask my child questions

I've had mixed responses to a facebook post so thought I'd ask here. Im wondering when you ask for a DAS in Disney will they question the child? I'm asking because my 11 yo daughter has HFASD and I'd really rather she wasnt questioned

My Son has ASD we used it last year. He had to be there at the Guest Services counter to scan his magic band and I'm not sure if they took his photo too. He waited by the windows while i explained what he struggled with as there was a queuefor the counter

They will need to scan her band and take a photo. But don't need to ask any questions, I get my son to stand to one side while I explain then call.him over for them to scan his band and take a photo.

As other posters have said last year they just scanned his ticket and those of the family and took his photo, no questions asked.🙂

Actually now I have another question. We are staying off site and planning to get magic bands this year. We have a 7 day ticket so do we go to guest services at the start of each park visit or just the one visit at the first Disney Park and that’ll cover all the parks for the duration.
Thanks in advance.

Strange question, but is it obvious they are taking a photo as this may be an issue for us?

They take photos on an I pad type thing, they do ask permission so it quite obvious. You could speak to them first on your own maybe.

I seem to remember that they don't have to look at the camera and that it was a pretty small one attached to the computer if that helps.

On another note, our non ASD son kept failing his finger print. The 2nd time they reset it they took his picture too. Just to make sure it was him using his ticket. Same routine with the tablet and reset his fingerprint.
