If I waitlist a week as one day is missing, will they only swap us if the full week is available?

Hi,

You wouldn’t think I’d been a DVC member for nearly 11 years now but here goes with a very basic question!

I’ve messed up an missed my 7 month window and I’m now at 6mths. It dawned on me last night at midnight, as it does, that my calculations were off! Anyway, I’m struggling with a full block now for next May. So I’ve booked SSR as a back up but really wanted BWV or AKV. So I’ve waitlisted AKV as there is one day in the middle of the week I need, missing. I’ve clicked that if it comes up to replace the SSR booking. Will it only be moved if the full week comes up?

Also, if I waitlist BWV as well, what will happen if then both AKV and BWV comes up? Unlikely I know but just before I do a second waitlist I thought I’d check!

I'd phone and explain it to them, then they can waitlist the week but put a note on the reservation.

I'd assume that unless you physically book the other 6 nights, it'll only go through if the entire week becomes available. Both of them coming up at exactly the same time seems unlikely, it'll be the one that comes up first.
