Our contract has now been sent for ROFR, and this is a first for us! Thank you so much to everyone for all your help.

I'd love to know if we made a decent offer, but I daren't ask because if we've paid too much it's too late now. I'm also not sure whether to keep looking at other contracts or not! I'd love to keep up with things in case this one is taken so I'm ready with the next, but I don't want to see an absolute bargain having already agreed to this!

I'm going to try to be positive. If this is taken we just move one step up the waiting list! :-)

Thanks again to all of you for your help and advice over recent months. We're not quite there yet, so I'm sure there'll be a few more questions (I already have some about renting points).

I honestly couldn't comment on your contract as I haven't watched beach club prices so wouldn't be able to say if I thought it was good or not. but if your happy with it - its fine! probably is even better than you think if you don't have to pay the 2018 dues? not sure if you figured out if you have to or not yet?

Last time I looked the average for BCV was $142 a point.

Thanks very much. I've been trying to do my research but I've found it really hard for Beach Club. I've made a list of every sale I could find (from other boards) over the last four years but I couldn't really see much of a trend other than a massive leap in cost about a year ago. I could only find 6 contracts that were taken, and the last of those was in May 2017 at $97, so it was hard to know how low they would allow through now. I seem to have offered lower than any I've seen in the last 6 months, but some cheaper ones got through earlier this year.

That is an amazing deal, the ROFR boards are currently showing 135 to mid 140's going through albeit it's a slightly larger contract you have so a modest discount is expected of maybe a couple of $s a point but you have done very well indeed. In fact it's so good your biggest risk is ROFR, albeit strongly in your favour they haven't been taking many BCV recently so good luck.
Wonderful resort, this and BWV are my favourite, the DVC area of Beach Club is beautifully done with that statue, and the room with the little balcony above it etc.
I like to see research which you have done very well, an educated DVC buyer is a happy owner.

Best resort, I've owned BCV since 2002, it's never let me down, in the (very few) years I've not used it, I've rented it so easily for maximum rental most years without even having to advertise it - this year I had 138 points left over, I said on here that I 'may' have to rent them and had 4 people PM me asking for the points!

It's a wonderful, very sought after resort and best location to stay on property imo. Good luck
