Cruise port documents?
Can any British citizen who has visited Grand Cayman or Jamaica on a cruise ship advise which documents you went required to show at the ports.
I.e. do I need to take my passport of the ship with me or is the sail & sign card sufficient? Also did you need any additional Visas etc? Many thanks.

Hi We (British) are back a couple of weeks ago from a cruise with Carnival which stopped at Grand Cayman, and we just showed our ship card, didn't need passports. We didn't need to buy any visa.

Thanks, we're also doing Carnival cruise. Just don't want to carry passports about with us unless absolutely necessary.

Ships card and driving licence. We have never needed to show the latter but photo ID is recommended by cruise lines.
