Mobile Do Disney withold any Fastpasses for the 30 days guests?

Always stayed onsite for the last 10 years, so this is the first year staying off-site and therefore, only being able to book at 30 days.

Do Disney hold some Fastpasses back to release at the 30 day mark? I can get most I need but Flight of Passage is always showing as not available, even when I log on at noon on the dot. This hardly seems fair if so - I realise its popular, but I keep trying at random times for cancellations too and nothing. I’m not giving up - otherwise it’s rope drop and head straight there!

No I don’t think they do. The 60 day FP perk is for onsite guests and is part of what Disney use to attract guests to the hotel.

No they don't, when you say that "it hardly seems fair", did you by any chance take advantage of the 60 day FP+ on your previous trip ? TBh I've never found the 60 day mark the advantage, for us the advantage has always been the ability to book 14 days worth at 60 days, even on a single 60 day you will struggle to get the headliners.

As you say, the biggest draw is to be able to book at the 60+ days and book your whole holiday in one hit - this logging on each day in my classroom cupboard at noon is not very professional! 😂😂😂

I just think, yes it’s a lovely perk to offer WDW guests to have that 30 days advantage, but holding a small amount back for 30 day guests, would be courteous as they’ve paid the same to enter the park, wherever they stay.

I guess I’ve never really thought of it before, as we’ve been onsite, but now being offsite, it’s caused a few tuts! 😂😂

Did you think they should hold some back for 30 day guests when you stayed on site? Or did you just go ahead and book all the ones you wanted at 60 days without thinking of the 30 day guests and the fact that they wouldn't be able to get all the fast passes they wanted because of all the on site guests booking them?

Of course I booked Fastpasses before when I could at 60 days, who wouldn’t? I must admit though, that I always believed Disney released them in batches and that they held some back for the 30 day bookers. I know there’s sometimes new ones on the day too to book, as park hours and crowds fluctuate.

To me, that’s how I thought it worked! I knew on-siters we’re getting a slight advantage, but didn’t realise they didn’t hold some back. Thanks for your comment though. 👍

Definitely make sure you have subscribed on here for park hour changes, if they extend the hours then that is your best shot
