Not sure of the difference in price but wilderness cabins have bunk beds and double bed in bedroom and sleeper sofa in living area.

I agree VH should have shut down bookings for bunk bed rooms when they were informed by disney that the rooms most likely won't be available (IIRC these are the rooms they are upgrading first then moving to the other rooms at AKL). They know they've done wrong hence the offer for GF, personally i'd jump at the chance for the upgrade but would still be mightily miffed!

Rent DVC points possibly, at AKV they have a queen sofa bed and a queen bed, but the 1 beds have a super king in the main bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair in living room. Will probably cost more, but you’ll get well over twice the space of a standard cash room , 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and washer and dryer in the room. Look at David’s Vacation Club.
