Mobile Booked for August Bank Holiday - need tips!

We have booked for 2 adults and 2 x 5 year old boys for next year over August BH for 3 nights staying at Newport Bay.
How many rides will the boys be able to go on for their age (and size) during EMH? Do we need to pay for the ultimate fast passes or will it be a waste as they can’t go on the big rides anyway.
I know this is a busy time of year and it will be hot so want to make sure it’s as stress free as possible!
We have got a half board deal too so do we need to book restaurants and when?

I wouldn't think you need to purchase fastpass. Remember they still have free fastpass so if you combine EMT with clever use of fastpass you can get plenty of rides done even at busy times.

There are lots of suitable rides usually open during EMT, I would definitely go for Ratatouille Peter Pan and Buzz Lightyear plus Dumbo as these can often have long lines.

You can book buffet and table service restaurants 60 days ahead - I would recommend you do this to ensure you don't waste time waiting for tables or risk getting turned away.

I wouldn't think you'd have to purchase the fastpass - although it will be very very busy the park will be open late so by combining this with EMT you should have plenty of time to do everything.

Almost all the rides open in EMT will be suitable for your 5 year olds - definitely use it for Peter Pan, Dumbo and Buzz!

Don't take it for granted that it will be hot in August though, we went last year and one day of sun and 5 days of cloud/rain and it was quite chilly in the evenings! Hopefully you're luckier than us!

Get as many rides done as you can before 11am. After then, we found it crazy busy, even in the evenings. We went out of the park for lunch which gave us a nice break, chilled in the hotel and then went back around 5 for a bit more and a snacky dinner. We also found rubbish weather worked in our favour. All the locals stayed away when rain was forecast so it was much quieter. When it was boiling hot and sunny, it was the busiest day for us. We went from the Sunday to Thursday so only caught the back end of the bank holiday.
