Good Virgin flight price
Hi all,
So I've been looking for flights/package hol for a while now and prices seem to have dropped a bit today. I've found the below in summer holidays, do you think it's a bargain enough to book or should I wait for Jan sales? Only been once before (2015) so expert advise appreciated 😁 2 adults 2 youths (12 & 13) 31.07-14.08.19 14 nights Virgin direct flights with prebooked seats economy classic £2600. Package hol same flight but no prebooked seats 14 nights Travelodge east gate orange hotel £2994. For Rosen at pointe £3088. For Seralago £2823 which I was just about to book when I found that there's no fridge in the room and I think that's essential in August heat! We're planning on being out most of the time we're all easy going but I'm after a bargain! Would you book Seralago or book flight and choose a hotel direct or hold off until Jan... ? Opinions pleeeeaase! X Edited at 08:27 PM. |

I think that's expensive for flights it coming in at £650pp for flights. Seats are now free to book in economy classic so you should be able to book it for free, however you can get rosen pointe for £700 for 14 nights if book separate and flights at around £500 - it could be £2700. but if you were wanting to book now id go for the rosen pointe one.

For direct flights in the school summer holidays, I think it's a good price. I haven't stayed at any of the hotels, but I know that Rosen at Pointe is very popular.

Thanks for replying, I asked about seat allocations on package holidays and was told I'd have to pay virgin to book seats once I'd bought package. The flights at 650 are virgin classic but I guess the ones on package are virgin lite with bags 🤷
Booking Seralago direct is just £348 I've been looking on and off for a while and this is the cheapest I've seen this year but if I can get cheaper in Jan I'll wait, just hope they don't sell out quick! |

Absolute bargain for direct summer holiday flights. Ignore anyone who says otherwise and book now before they go up.

We went to Rosen at pointe 2015, it was great but price is everything this time and so many places have similar reviews but cheaper x

I've just done a quick search on the VH site (can't get the prices you're getting though), and the flights included are economy classic, so they include seat booking and luggage. Economy light doesn't, and economy delight is for extra leg room seats. If you've found bargain prices, which I think you have, then I'd be booking before they change. Rosen Pointe is coming up at £3565 for me.

I've just searched vh and can get same dates baymont suites with car hire for £3190! Now that is good! Place looks great and I like the idea of booking everything for 1 price, can even get park tickets added on but if have to compare prices first.
It's only £100 more than rosen but with a car. The insurance upgrade is 350 though! So I'll try and get that seperate. So come on I should book this right? Good price for virgin?! The package him prices I searched for earlier were with travel republic btw x Edited at 09:11 AM. |

Separate car insurance is a tricky issue. Most people just don't bother with the 'free' car and hire a car separately. I'm no car hire experience though, so maybe ask in the car hire forum. I'd say that if you're happy with the prices, resort etc, then book.

The car insurance upgrade at £350 is ok. You will be lucky to get a car via Alamo for less than that amount for your dates
