Mobile Upgrade Seat options on virgin flights ?

We have already chosen & paid to secure exit row seats in the bubble both ways but virgin are now offering us upgrade to premium for £158 each both ways (no seats in the bubble tho☹️) which sounds a great price. Love the bubble but never tried downstairs premium. Is downstairs just as good in premium as the bubble? Do we give up the bubble to travel in premium? Any thoughts to help us choose please . I am assuming that if we choose to upgrade that we will be refunded the cost of the booked exit row seats?

You should get a refund and I would certainly grab those Premium seats

i would upgrade :-)

I liked being downstairs for flying out it was quiet, i got a seat on the front in the bulkhead seats, plus your off first :-)

i have however come back upstairs in premium upstairs but would happily go downstairs too :-) maybe give them a ring about getting money back for your exit seats but i would go for it at that price.

Did Virgin contact you about this? Was it by email or phone?

Is that 158 return? That's a great price if so. Not sure I'd bother for 300 each if it's 158 each way though.

We prefer downstairs premium economy as you're pretty much the first people off the plane.

£158 return each. The offer is on the virgin app where I can see details of flights. we are already paying extra to book exit row in the bubble anyway so if this is refunded the upgrade is pretty good

IMHO, you'd be mad not to grab this upgrade (and say 'thank you very much, Virgin') at the same time. The Virgin PE product, when delivered correctly, is certainly worth it! Go for it, Crissy.

I’d still pay the £158 for the return upgrade, useful to have the extra baggage alone. I’d definitely buy it at that price!
