Yeah sofa murphy bed coming to Saratoga

As we hoped. This is the company that are making it:

inovabed/

This is going to make Saratoga very actractive post refurb for families who use the sofa bed in my view- one of the biggest complaints.

Looks great, but I wish they'd introduce the Murphy bed too so that families with older children of the opposite sex can stay there too. We love SSR, but with a teen boy and girl it's just not feasible now. Even a 1 bed villa is no good. We'd need a 2 bed villa which is completely out of our price range

We have this issue also. I think we may take an adult 'ready bed' next year. Alternative is OKW, VGF, Kidani or BLT which has a sleeper chair also in 1 bed.

We've done that in the past, but part of me begrudges paying good money for one of the children to sleep on a blow up bed for 2 weeks. Plus, there's not exactly a lot of space for it either in a studio.

We're staying at moderates with a Murphy bed now as the deluxe resorts that offer them are out of budget, plus we prefer having the qsdp

What is the difference between the murphy bed and the innova bed? Don't they both store a mattress up against the wall?

The Innova bed is a double bed that stores away and leaves a sofa in its place. The Murphy beds are single beds that fold up too and are usually part of the storage unit underneath the TV. Some other studios have a bed, sofa bed and Murphy bed so can sleep 5 and offer 3 separate sleeping surfaces.

Ah ok - yeah my sister and nephews will come with me in 2020 for a holiday and I'm having to use this years banked points, all of next years and some borrowed from the following year for a 2 bed villa which is mighty expensive but the boys won't share a bed anymore (teenagers).
It's only money right ?

When our kids were teenagers DH and DS and myself and DD would share the bed in a studio or 1 bed
Wasn't ideal but worked with points

I know that works for some, but it's never going to happen with us. I'd rather stay at a moderate with a Murphy bed so we can all sleep well for 2 weeks

1-beds at AK, OKW or BLT for us as we also have older kids of opposite sexes.

I thought they were going to make the studios sleep 5 at SSR is that not the case?
