Sky Talk Free Calls Christmas and Boxing days (inc International)

Nice ... all calls free including international and no hour cap for the two days. Need Sky landline, details on the Sky mysky app.

Useful if you pick up a bargain flight on Boxing Day maybe as well as catching up with friends and family.

We had SkyQ put in this week. My Wife is eagerly awaiting Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead to be back on box sets as we lost all our recordings.

Mind you we like this Q. Got boxes everywhere, a so much better picture than when we ran it via co ax.

Thats a cracking deal ref the phone calls.

Mr T do you know if the boxes for Q run off wi fi? DH wants Q but our internet is really bad so not sure it would be worth it if the boxes in the bedrooms didn't work. We don't have a tv mast in our area or a tv aerial on our roof we can only get tv via Sky (they are the only ones who provide our area) It would be a good thing for us to get as we only have the tv in the sitting room just now which isn't great.

Hi. I had a set up whereby I had Sky in the lounge and had tapped the back of the box and run a cable to a 4 way splitter in the roof.
That then fed down into the dining room, kitchen and 2 x bedrooms.
So what we had on in the lounge we had everywhere
Plus had magic eyes in the other rooms so we could control Sky from them individually - but it was still the same channel everywhere. Finally the picure was ok but not great.

Sky Q. New dish, same cable going into the new Q box in the lounge. Also that box feeds off the WiFi so thats good.

Every other set is via WiFi. Our WiFi isn't great but the dining room gets it fine. The kitchen was very poor so he put a booster box on top of the fridge which is working well - thats free by the way.

Thus we have the main set, 1 free mini box and 1 other we paid £69 for whilst he was here.
I will get 1 more for the bedroom and do it myself.
The other bedrooms I care not about as they are unoccupied !

My Wife is well happy as she hates cables. I have spent hours getting shot of redundant aerial cables, magic eyes and other stuff.
