As of today, we've received a (temporary) credit on our MBNA credit card for our TC flights.

I say temporary, because we received a text saying "We've placed a temporary credit(s) on your credit card. The company has 45 days to challenge our decision. Should this happen we will contact you".

I'm not sure which company would challenge MBNA's refund?

Finally received my refund from Virgin Money, put my claim in via email on 29th Septemebr, heard nothing since & still heard nothing! Just checking my statement everyday & noticed its changed!

That’s good still waiting for mine. Think I sent mine earlier than that. Did you use the customer relations email?

Hi, yes, my flight was 27th september so I hadnt received the form before I went so they agreed to email it me.

That’s my refund from Amex in. I though it might be yesterday as it wouldn’t let me log on so I thought they might be adjusting my account. I’m just waiting on my credit limit adjusting but I can see the refund on my transactions.

I think the refunds are coming through for people, but it seems with the exception of Tesco and Virgin cc for a lot of people.

We have just received our refund on a MasterCard, had to play hardball and multiple calls to just confirm they even had the form. Got there in the end before our funds are required to clear for the new flights we booked, now we only need to pay the difference. Can move on again now and look forward to our actual holiday next year.

I've just phoned Virgin money re my VA credit card S75 claim and the disputes team have confirmed that they have my form, it will be sent to Thomas Cook within 7 working days and then Thomas Cook have 45 days to respond, so I need to allow another 52 working days from today. Happy New Year

That sounds like charge back rather than section 75. Others are doing temporary refund to allow Thomas Cook to dispute. Not sure who at Thomas Cook would dispute🙄🤔
