Not read the whole thread but i've just had an email yesterday sayng oct 15th cancelled! I can't get through though it just keeps cutting me off - presumably they are busy because of all the tier 4 customers calling in. Will they call me? Will they just change it? Can't really do another date

I’m waiting to be contacted, I received a text too and I requested a call after my outbound was cancelled. I can’t do day before as they suggested so will wait and see.

I will need to move whole lot as not willing to shorten my holiday to account for the missing outbound🤞

I've never waited to be contacted. Since booking this (and moving it 3 times), I've had all flights cancelled at least once. BA have been great though when you get through, they just sort it!.

Call times are going to be high this morning as they seem to like to cancel on a Sunday for some reason

We got the email yesterday cancelling our Man - Phl flights. Got through to BA after about 10 attempts and joined a queue that turned out to be an hour long. We have changed to MAN - LGW - MCO. Not ideal as we wanted our transatlantic flight to land in Manchester, but it should give us and extra 1/2 day in Orlando as we land at 15:10 rather than the 20.30 landing originally.

I know it is frustrating for you but BA will be working as hard as they can to get through the calls. Have you thought about using online chat other Dibb members have reported earlier in the thread they have had some success. There is Twitter too.

It is unlikely BA will call and the longer you leave it to try to sort it out your choices may become more limited so it may be worth trying to chase it up when you can.

Good call jim and thanks for the reminder - thankfully thebasource/ has finally been broguth up to date with the inclusion of the new(ish) A350 at last. I found it a bit frustrating when it wasn't featured but all sorted now.

Phoned BA, about 30 mins on hold, all done. Another excellent example of customer services from them.

Only booked our holiday on Wednesday for October 2021 and got the email yesterday to say the flights from man to mco via Philly were cancelled. Phoned up at 9:30 this morning , on hold for 15 mins , a lovely lady sorted it all out for us as there are 2 bookings as 10 of us going. All done. Flying Man to Heathrow then Mco. She said it was A A that had cancelled the flights. Check your flights if you are flying with American Airlines. Really glad I booked with BA instead of going through a third party like i usually do.

Just checked my booking for late April. The flight from Gatwick to Orlando at 13:30 is no longer showing, looks like it’s been cancelled.

Not heard from Travelrepublic yet, hopefully we get a refund so I can move it to September.

Yes American Airlines operate that flight as AA735 and hasn't been running for most of 2020 so not surprised it is cancelled for next year. It is a shame as it was a popular route and made for good MCO connections. Glad you got it all sorted out.
