Currently in work by 7.30am, leave by 5, and then usually 2 hours work in evening, plus currently working up to 4 hours of weekend.
Tired.

Only started the job at a petrol station with large shop October last year and contracted for 3 - 16 hours however have been doing 12 - 24 hours a week, varied shifts and no pattern so don't know what I'm working more than two weeks in advance (although can request a shift change if rota has only just been issued). The shifts are strange as up to a 6 hour shift entitles us to a 15 min paid break but a 7+ hour shift we are entitled to 2x 15 min paid breaks and a compulsory 30 min unpaid break.

My contract says ‘however many hours it takes to get the job done’ or words to that effect. In practice
probably 50-60 hours a week generally though. I used to have a very strict rule that I never worked weekends and I almost never broke that but I can’t find a happy medium when I’m WFH all the time - I’m in the very bad habit of doing stuff at weekends now

My husband says exactly the same thing - he can’t work from home and now likes going to work as something resembling normality!

I like going to work because the walk to and from work is the only time I get on my own nowadays.

( I know some are lonely and desperate for human interaction, and I feel for them... but I've just had enough now)

My substantive contract is 27.5 hours a week, which is 'usually' made up of 2 x 9.5 hour days and 1 x 8.5 days but can vary.

At the moment I'm vaccinating so doing 10 hours shifts and also working at least one extra day to help get through the numbers.

I work 40 hours a week and never work over that. I work monday-friday. Some of the hours that others do on this thread are eye watering x
