when in November?
If my some miracle things are some what back to normal next year we're looking at going back in Nov for all the xmas stuff.
We had booked this year thanksgiving - dec 8th but after watching some vlogs it seemed to get pretty chilly once it got to dec - people walking around in jeans/jumpers so wondering if we should maybe look at going earlier in nov instead? |

We've been around 18 times in the Nov and Dec time usually for 4 weeks during that period. Would have been 19 times last month but we have booked for the same period next year.
Sadly perfectly true that on average you can expect it to get colder as the year moves on and we've had a few overnight frosts the nearer it gets to Christmas. Have a look here for averages but bear in mind that they are averages - we've had better and worse over the years. weatherspark/m/17721/12/...-United-States You can change the months. Yes I'm afraid you'll need sweaters and trousers first thing and after sunset Mick

It seems to vary. We went the first two weeks of November in 2014 and most days it was 22-25 but a couple of days it was 18 and in the evenings there was a bitterly cold wind. Blizzard Beach closed on those days due to cold. (It didn't feel cold during the day, well not to us anyway!)
It suited us fine as we can't bear heat - in fact the day it was 25 we really struggled to keep going. The rest of the time it was lovely, no humidity at all. We were advised to avoid Epcot during the weekends of Food & Wine, and particularly the Food & Wine Marathon weekend, due to crowds. We found Downtown Disney (as it still was then) was very crowded that weekend too, but no problems anywhere else. The first week of November is 'Jersey Week' when a lot of people visit from New Jersey. We found this had no impact at all, crowds were quite low, we just noticed quite a lot of people with the Noo Joisey accent! Veterans' Day on 11 November is a public holiday so some of the parks can be crowded. We booked our stay at Universal over 10th and 11th so that we had front of line passes to cope with that - but in the end, Universal was practically deserted! Apparently MK was rammed that day though. I wouldn't hesitate to go at that time again.

We normally go late October right through to Dec 5Th or 6th
We start off the holiday shorts T-shirt all day then as it progresses maybe the odd day with jeans and a light hoodie in the morning or evening it’s always. Left in the car by the time we get to the parks Our neighbours can be in jackets jeans ugg boots and we are in short sleeves and flip flops they think we are nuts at times |

We've been in IHOP for breakfast in November in tee shirts and shorts and there'll be locals in jeans and fleeces. I've often asked Joan if we've driven to an Alaskan branch. Mick

End of October / Early November is or favourite time. Food & Wine at EPCOT, Halloween and, if you time it right, the start of the Christmas celebrations as well. Normally I would say that the crowds are good (although still busier at weekends) and to make sure you get out before thanksgiving when it gets busy.
Who knows for next year - the 50th Birthday kicking off will have an effect in early October but after that, we are all guessing at the COVID impact on both the experience and the numbers travelling.

This was on the pool deck in early Nov 2015 - we had about 5 days like it. Obviously in the sun but warm enough for sun bathing.

Thanks for all the replies
sounds like we need to decide what matters more warmer weather or more xmas stuff. I'm still leaning more toward the end of the month as there does seem to be more xmas stuff after thanksgiving but the others think they would prefer warmer days Obviously its a waiting game to see how things pan out this year and if we can actually go but its nice to have something to hope/plan for |

I was there start of November 2019, it was between hot and mildly chilly (just enough to need a light jacket in the early mornings but back to T shirt weather in the late morning). At the very start of November there was still Halloween things, and if I don't remember wrongly Christmas season started 8 November. That being said, a lot of the Christmas decorations weren't up yet by the time I left 10 November and Epcot hadn't yet changed into Christmas mode (it was still Food and Wine).
If I'm not wrong Thanksgiving week will have insane crowds, so it's usually best to go the week after Thanksgiving if you want all the Christmas things but still want to go in November. Check crowd calendars to confirm this though!
