Walking boots
After hunting for decent wellies think I've decided to get a decent pair of walking boots instead. I walk a lot with my springer but normally flat ground not hill walking. Just been out and worn an old pair of trespass boots that have cracked and let in water. Any suggestions for a decent robust walking boot not too heavy? I've looked at so many now merrell Peter storm north face timberland haglof im getting confused lol. Budget £150 maximum. Any ideas please?

I’ve got Skechers Walking boots. They’re waterproof, and very comfortable.

I love my Merrill walking shoes and boots. Depends exactly what you want to use for and weather.
I switch between easy/ medium terrain in shoes , then boots for higher climbs. Gortex is a great addition but pricey. My hubby loves his leather Grisport boots |

Kentucky storm from Bareback footwear are amazing. They feel a bit neat initially but bed in with a couple of wears and are so comfy. They do a non waterproof version but the Storm are worth the extra. Just wish they did them in Blue.

I wore Meindl approach shoes for years when we had our dog. They have Goretex so are completely waterproof but look and feel like trainers.

I have a couple of different pairs of Decathlon Snow Walking Boots, one pair that are more like traditional looking walking boots and a pair that are higher up the leg that look like snow boots.
I live in them and they've stayed waterproof for the last 3 years or so now. So comfy to wear, which is a must for me as I get blisters at the drop of a hat.

I walk my dog twice daily, through mud/rain/snow etc and I swear by these. I have had them for nearly 5 years and I protect them with a gel protector. I will buy another pain soon just in case my pair let me down.
