Dog harness

Can anyone recommend me a Good but quick harness to put on my dog. She is not that keen on going out, but when she does her harness at the moment , is threw the feet and Velcro on top it’s called a Puppia, she hates it. I hope someone can help me with a easier one to put on and one that won’t rub her, she is such a fussy girl, she has a lot of illness eg IBD and chronic pancreatitis so I wonder if the tightness around her tummy makes the situation worse. I’m looking forward to your replies. Thanks.

We have a K-9 from amazon, it's the best one we have had and was recommended by Battersea when we adopted Daisy. She's a strong excitable staffie/springer/boxer cross so needs something strong to keep hold of her!

Does she need a harness? A collar and lead is very quick if she doesn’t pull like a train

K-9 is be far the easiest we’ve had. Pop it over their head and do the buckle up, just as easy as a collar.

I’m afraid she pulls so much, so can’t use collar.

Perfect fit harnesses are the best.

Mine wear Puppia harnesses, they have two different style and your description makes me think you are using the other style. We buy this style and have never had a problem.

Also recommend the K9 for ease and comfort but harnesses can make the pulling worse. Our dog just leans into it!

We use a dogmatic or Halti head collar instead on those occasions he feels he is on a mission.

I agree with this. We have a GSD who pulls so we thought we would get her a harness. It made it much worse as she just put all her chest muscles into it. We went to a dog trainer who suggested a head collar which works.
