We did exactly the same last June on Enchanted. You'll find the Sun completely different in layout and shows etc. Park 19 isn't open yet, but hopefully by your cruise it will be.

Hi MrsBC, we are thinking of booking a cruise on this ship, have you any recommendation on cabin placement? You were very helpful about the cabins on deck 17 on Enchanted/Discovery, which we loved as we barely felt any ship movement. On previous cruises, on lower decks we always felt small movements.

I am looking at deck 17 on Sun but the cabins available seem to be under the fitness centre so I think that's a no? On deck 16, there's a few available on the bump-out, roughly under Coffee & Cones/bathroom area which we are considering or would you recommend a lower deck on this ship?

I just checked where we were - it was deck 15, cabin 15435 and was actually just on the 'bump' in the middle of the ship so the balcony was slightly larger. We heard no noise and felt no movement; and being pretty central it was easier to get to each end of the ship.
